Booking.com“It is my favourite place to stay in El Chalten! I trully felt like home! It is a very quiet, isolated place, where it is just you and a view to glaciers. Claudia and her dog Taya are the best hosts! please, read the description of the place carefully - it is far from the town, you have to cook lunch and dinner by yourself, so please make sure you stopped by at the supermarket”
Airbnb“Great set of lodges with an even more amazing host. Set in a perfect, peaceful location to escape the crowds, yet very well placed for starting walks from Portal Río Eléctrico and exploring north towards Glaciar Huemul. Claudia and her husband were warm, welcoming and genuinely hospitable, without ever encroaching on privacy. They very skilfully and patiently share their well-appointed kitchen with guests, and also provide some breakfast - an unexpected but much appreciated surprise. A car is more or less essential, and it's worth planning ahead for dinners, whether that means eating in town or bringing supplies to cook. Thank you again and would highly recommend.”
Desayuno super completo. Excelente punto para iniciar varios senderos y caminatas. La vista de las habitaciones es increíble.”
Airbnb“A wonderful cabin the woods. It's 30 minutes from El Chalten so make sure you have a car but perfect if you want some peace and quiet. The cabins are beautifully presented and very comfortable. Claudia had lots of great recommendations for places to eat and explore and is a great baker for that cake fix after a long day walking.”
Booking.com“We stayed there for several days over Christmas and immediately felt very relaxed. The owners are very helpful and attentive. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh cake and tea. Later, they helped us with tips and hiking poles for our hike to Laguna de los Tres. The breakfast and rooms are also very good, and you can ask for a lunch package the day before if you want to set off early for your hike. We would book this accommodation again anytime and can recommend it 100%.”
Airbnb“We had a wonderful stay at Claudia's cabin. The cabin is spacious and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are super soft. We loved spending time with Claudia, her husband, and their dog. They are so helpful, caring, and attentive. Claudia's cakes are amazing and she loves sharing her culture. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will definitely be back.”
Airbnb“We really enjoyed our stay with Claudia and Ariel. Their place is about half an hour north of El Chaltén, in the Río de las Vueltas valley, and the drive up is beautiful. El Chaltén was packed when we were there, so it was great to have access to town but also come back to somewhere quiet and peaceful. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent — fresh bread, coffee, biscuits, yogurt, fruit — and generous enough that we had plenty to bring along for lunch on our hikes. On our first night, we arrived late and hadn't planned anything for dinner. Claudia immediately offered ingredients from her own pantry, including fresh morels that Ariel had just foraged. A quiet, welcoming place with genuinely kind hosts.”
Airbnb“Staying at Claudia and Ariel's cabin feels like visiting good friends — friends who have a great eye for design and anticipate your every need. The cabin is cozy and private, with gas heating and hot showers, perfect for when we came in the cold spring season. It's the perfect home to come back to after a long hike with a nice hot shower, some coffee with Claudia's homemade lemon cake, then reading on the patio on the daybed under a thick blanket while listening to the wind and seeing the snow capped mountains in the background. The bed is super comfortable and they provide the softest towels and robes. We loved looking at the stars and seeing the sky turn pink with the sunrise from the bed. Claudia's breakfasts are delicious and hearty with homemade cakes and bread, more than enough to keep us energized for hikes. The hosts are so warm, fun, and generous! Don't hesitate to book this special place!”
Me senti em casa.
